About the series
Description
The Gospels of Matthew and Luke both present us with an account of Jesus’ birth. As we reflect on each a striking paradox comes forth: Found in a manger/found in a house, born in obscurity/born into royal intrigue, visited by shepherds/visited by wise men.
As we bring these two perspectives together we see that the amazing person of Jesus truly comes together. He is the humble servant who walked in our footsteps, and yet He is the coming King who saves His people and rules all with peace and justice.
