Summary & Big Idea
-Jesus’s birth was a promise of God to His people Israel. It was highly anticipated.
-The Blessing promised to Abraham was that through His Seed, would come redemption and relationship with God for all the peoples on the earth.
-Christmas is a deeply exclusive holiday because it celebrates and remembers the birth of Christ. It harkens us back to the promise to Abraham that salvation would come to the world.
Reflection
Who can you invite into your Christmas celebration that doesn’t know God, and what can you do to make that person feel welcomed in that time together?
