About the Series
There is much more to Jesus than a great teacher, or exceptional leader. While He amassed a movement in His life on earth, it is the deeper, unseen reality of who Jesus is that is so powerfully needed in the world today. The apostle John states that he wrote his gospel so that the reader “may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and have life in His name.”
John understood that there was more to Jesus than met the eye, that Jesus was the Son of God, and that the only way to have an eternal relationship with God was through embracing this truth. As people today, we’re keen to follow experts, but in Jesus we need to go deeper, embracing who He truly is in order to know God and be transformed by Him.
