Summary & Big Idea
-We often only see Jesus on the cross as a saviour, but He was also a conqueror who gained authority through His death.
-Jesus is more than a teacher, or a fellow spiritual companion. He is God, fully in control and will bring justice to persecution and suffering. With Jesus you are never helpless.
-While some churches needed to be strengthened and encouraged, others were compromising because of persecution, just like the churches we also need to be reminded of the power, glory, and judgement of Jesus in order to repent and correct our ways.
